Adam Sylvester Cameron aka Damage

Captured in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Raised by the Cameron family of San Francisco. After an earthquake destroyed his adoptive father's antique store, his adoptive mother accepted a National Park job here in Wyoming. Sometime after that, Adam attended college. As chance would have it, the same college as my brother Joseph. GARMA arranged for them to share a dorm room. That gave me my first opportunity to learn about a therid more closely, and why he is first on this list.
After graduating with a general degree, Adam accepted an invitation from former childhood friend Kit Fletcher to work as a groundskeeper at a country club in Tucson, Arizona. This turned out to somehow be far more than a mundane job. Adam and Kit's inexplicable antics led to GARMA's involvement on multiple occasions. It's... complicated and could be its own file. So, I'll skip ahead a bit. While at that job, Adam and Kit befriended a local waitress and one thing led to another... the trio became a rock band that, while traveling, stole from and helped take down bad guys. Yes, really. It wasn't all strictly legal but, because they did far more good than harm, and a therid was involved, GARMA was allowed to keep other authorities out of the matter. During this time is when Adam started using the Damage nickname. Although, him and the other two had a different set of aliases to use for their heists. Adam's was reportedly Rockwell Roosevelt. The trio was impressive and effective. But then there was some incident at a Western-themed tourist trap in South Dakota named Buzzard Gulch, involving a saloon, a bar fight, and a gun.
Whatever happened, Adam had a falling out with his friends after the incident and went his own way. Traveling the country alone while spiraling, until he decided to seek out his former college roommate, my brother, who had by then established his private detective practice here in Fort Dragon. Joseph, or as he calls himself, Joey Coyote (I know) had an extra room in his workplace/home apartment, so Adam moved in and joined his practice. The two called themselves Damage & Coyote and I have to admit they have done a lot of good for Fort Dragon, even helping GARMA on a number of occasions.
Adam has no extra nanite-related powers, that have been detected. But, as a raccoon, his enhanced senses and incredible agility have proven helpful in his work. He is also, as expected for his species, very clever, resourceful, and, well, scrappy. Despite being bullied while young, he found his confidence in college (maybe a bit too much). He can be a bit of a social bulldozer and certainly has some main character energy. He is also somewhat temperamental and unpredictable, at times. But his moral compass seems solid, he enjoys helping those in need and righting wrongs. He also seems to really bring out the best in those around him, even my brother, and that's why, when we decided to rebuild the WILD division, Adam Cameron was my top choice for commander. As a matter of fact, seeing what he could do as a detective was the very inspiration for me to propose a new therid-driven version of WILD.
