Dr. Albert Friedrich Bennart aka Fritz

Species: Rat

Gender: Male

Hair/Fur: White

Height: 5'10''

Once a literal lab rat, from a laboratory in New York City. Albert was left in the care of Dr. Reginald Bennart, a respected physicist and professor in the Acadium, a self-contained community on the edge of Fort Dragon centered on science and academia. This rat does have additional abilities from his engineering. Most notably, a perfect and total recall of anything he has perceived. Combined with enhanced synaptic speed, he is like a living supercomputer. With his abilities, Albert excelled at the Acadium, earning the first of his (numerous) PhD's before even becoming a teenager (and it would have been sooner, but Acadium leadership delayed it due to concern of jealousy)

Personal issues later caused Albert to leave the Acadium behind on a journey to find his purpose. This led to him returning to Talon Faust and working as his assistant for some time, while learning as much as he could of the strange geneticist and his process as he could. Once he had found peace and gathered a significant amount of data, he did leave Faust and returned to the Acadium. Though he couldn't get a full grasp of the science involved in making therids - he estimates it would potentially take decades of study, at least - he did gather a lot of background and tangential information related to created therids. In fact, much of what I can provide here in this file is because of that knowledge he has willingly shared with GARMA. In fact, the whole proposed "theramorphic humanoids" term, which became therids, was Albert's. Before that, there wasn't a comprehensive term for the phenomenon.

Despite the incredible abilities of his mind, Albert somehow manages to function as a person. He does exhibit neuroses and OCD, but nothing beyond what might be seen in a typical genius. His preferred field of study is Physics, both applied and theoretical. But he does also, of course, have marginal knowledge of various other fields of study. He exhibits an enthusiastic dedication to science, similar to Talon Faust. But unlike Faust's amoral manic drive, Bennart seems to want to help make the world better. He has often assisted his friends at Damage & Coyote and even GARMA, whenever his skills can be of assistance. He is a natural top candidate for the reformation of WILD.
