Simon Regal
Species: Monkey
Gender: Male
Hair/Fur: Brown
Height: 5'7''
I'd said Blake Hughes was the oldest recorded therid. The reality is Simon is older, much older. Possibly the first to undergo the process, as evidenced by the fact he was fully grown before he began the process - something Talon Faust would later change in beast originating therids. The simple fact is Simon has chosen to keep his privacy and leave his past behind. He has been a valued asset for GARMA in the past and, as such, we have chosen to respect that decision.
What I can safely reveal is he was a lab monkey at an installation in the Himalayas, possibly before Faust even finished creating the therid process. And that, sometime after he became a therid, he escaped. The rest I am not free to divulge. But I can say, Simon Regal is currently working as the events coordinator for Sebastian Ferrel's Sun Crown Cay.
An asset for WILD? Emphatically yes. He could be the single best addition to the group. Convincing him to return to that sort of life... that would be more complicated. It is definitely something we will pursue.
Baz
Species: Boar
Gender: Male
Hair/Fur: Brown
Height: 6'2''
Baz works as Simon's personal bodyguard. Why does a tropical island event coordinator need a guard? He doesn't really, especially that events coordinator. The reality is Simon and Baz are long time friends and it was likely an excuse to hire him. That said, the boar does like being intimidating and a good fight, so it might not be the worst job choice. We don't know much of his distant history and he might have a more complete name, but his record is partial. As an old friend of Simon's, he would've possibly been one of the early therids and Albert has said Faust was less meticulous with earlier records. So, it's not very unusual.
As a potential WILD member, sure. He is big, tough, and a capable brawler. But I suspect it would have to be alongside Simon, if we can somehow manage to convince the monkey.
